Kyia Williams is an innovative chef and caterer, who creates a symphony of flavors and a warm ambience for her clients. Her culinary journey began as a child under her grandmothers tutelage. Learning most of what she knows from her home kitchen in Baltimore, Maryland. She developed an interest in the magic of cooking and hospitality. Upon graduating high school, Kyia attended Baltimore International College where she cultivated her skills in ingredient preparation, nutrition, stocks and sauces.
Her dishes and mentor praxis centers the longstanding culinary knowledge of diverse food cultures, the Global South and the African Diaspora. She has trained chefs and restauranteurs in cooking techniques, plating, presentation, food history, client engagement, menu development and kitchen management.
